Keeping track of your fitness should not be expensive. After all, you’ve probably already spent plenty of dough on new-age foods and exercise equipment to keep you in tip-top shape. So when it comes to simply tracking your day-to-day activity, a welcome thing would be a product which doesn’t cost the earth — a fitness band that’s, say, $13.

The Xiaomi Mi Band is just that. It’s a fitness band and sleep tracker that’s significantly cheaper than the likes of the Jawbone UP3 and other products such as the Withings Activite. The key difference between the Mi Band and other fitness trackers though is that the Mi is very difficult to get ahold of – it’s only on sale in China, where Xiomi sells plenty of them.

But we’ve managed to get ahold of one of these fitness bands. So what’s it like?

LG G Flex 2

LG G Flex 2 reviews: The best curved smartphone?

The LG G Flex 2 is the first of the next-generation smartphones; smartphones with the super-quick Snapdragon 810 processor. It’s also LG’s second curved smartphone (but contrary to its name, it isn’t flexible). If you are looking into buying one of these smartphones, we thought we’d help you in your decision process by collecting all of the best LG G Flex 2 reviews from across the internet. One thing I was surprised about was the overwhelmingly positive reviews this smartphones has received. It’s not that I was expecting the G Flex 2 to follow the old cliché of it being LG’s difficult second album, but the reviews are really rather glowing. See for yourself:

Buying a tablet is not a unique experience – it’s pretty much the same as buying a smartphone.

Key considerations are going to include display size, ecosystem (operating system) and battery life, and to a lesser extent processing power (speed). A vibrant display, access to a quality app marketplace, solid battery life and snappy performance can all be found in one device, but with so many tablets on the market finding one which ticks all the right boxes can be difficult.

Which is why we are here. Below, we have listed the best tablets you can buy and we will be keeping this list updated throughout the year to keep it current. So without further ado, let’s jump into the tablet market and take a look at the best tablets you can buy:

Dell Venue 8 7000 tablet

The Dell Venue 8 7000 is a solid 8.4″ Android tablet

Not long ago if I was asked what Android tablet somebody should buy, my answer would’ve been:

  1. The Sony Xperia Tablet Compact, but if you can’t afford that then;
  2. The Google Nexus 9 will fulfill your every need.

I even included these two devices in my best tablets you can buy post. But another tablet is worth considering if you want to venture away from the norm- the Dell Venue 8 7000, which I’ll be honest about and say that I hadn’t played with up until one week ago.

Samsung’s Galaxy S6 will be curved

Take a look at the image above. It’s Samsung’s teaser image for their Galaxy Unpacked event which will take place on March 1st at 12:30PM ET (6:30PM CET) ahead of Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, and it gives something very important away – their next flagship will have a curved screen.

If it does (have a curved screen), the next flagship will probably use the same technology as found in the Galaxy Note Edge, a powerful and capable handset that lacks the class of the LG G Flex.

Apple earnings

Apple announces insane earnings for the holiday period

Love Apple or hate Apple, they sure know how to make money and in their most recent earnings report they announced something astonishing: For the December quarter, Apple generated $74.6 (£49.5) billion in sales. To put that into perspective, that’s more than Google made in the whole of 2014 and more than Google and Microsoft made combined. And if you throw Amazon into that mix, Apple still made more money in one quarter than those 3 companies did in a whole year.

But let us not dwell on how far ahead Apple is than other technology companies. That would be unfair of us. Instead, let’s focus on the figures of Apple’s announcement:
